This site contains lots of pictures of South Asians, mostly of Dalit Women or Untouchables, who are survivors of Hindu casteism and apartheid, inside and outside of South Asia.
There are also pictures of Lambanis or Tribals of South Asia, who are part of the same group of people that migrated from South Asia to Europe, known as the Gypsies.
There are a few pictures of Buddhist architecture from the Ajanta Caves, in Maharasthra, and of Sadus or "Holy Men" in North India.
Many of the pictures were taken in Bidar district, north-eastern Karnataka, and in Dhule district, north-western Maharasthra, my birthplace.
Other photos were taken in Hampi, a city located in central Karnataka, which contain the ruins of the 16th century Vijayanagar empire.
There are also a few photos of South Asian activists in North America.
